WEFLO, Daejeon’s Outstanding Technology Company, Has ‘High Performance March’ in North America
A $13.91 million contract to attract exports and investment as a project to support the Daejeon Job Economy Promotion Agency.
Daejeon City announced that it has achieved a $13.91 million (about 18 billion won) contract to attract exports and investment by supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the North American market.
According to the city on the 28th, 14 companies that participated in the support project from last year to this year generated $10.58 million (about 13.7 billion won) in export contracts and $3.33 million (about 4.3 billion won) in investment attraction this year, and secured a foothold in the local market through the establishment of five local corporations.
Daejeon City’s project to support small and medium-sized enterprises in the information and communication technology field to enter the North American market through the Daejeon Job Economy Promotion Agency.
Daejeon City was able to achieve clear results last year by collaborating with KIC-Silicon Valley for the first time in the country, as well as providing specialized support for administrative and management sectors such as North American localization education, business item verification, and corporate establishment to Daejeon companies.
KIC-Silicon Valley is a specialized institution that supports international cooperation and overseas expansion of the Information and Communication Industry Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Science and ICT. It believes that Daejeon SMEs’ high technological and corporate capabilities are sufficiently competitive in the North American market and helps Daejeon companies grow.

(tomography device for ophthalmology) ▷ People League Co., Ltd.
Meanwhile, Daejeon City, along with the Daejeon Job Economy Promotion Agency, is promoting projects such as supporting entry into the North American market, participating in overseas exhibitions and fairs, entering the overseas procurement market, entering and selling online shopping malls, TV home shopping, and obtaining product certification to secure local SMEs’ domestic and foreign markets.
