WEFLO Introduces Modular Intelligent Flight Safety Inspection Pad ‘verti-Pit’

“WEFLO” which provides real-time safety inspection solutions through intelligent sensors and artificial intelligence (AI) and big data analysis, unveiled the aircraft (drone) intelligent safety inspection pad on the 8th at a drone delivery commercialization demonstration held as part of the drone demonstration project in Seosan City.

Seosan City’s drone demonstration project is carrying out the construction of a drone demonstration city with 51 people from seven organizations, and Seosan City, Kyochon F&B, and Airon and Doosan, participants in the demonstration, participated in the demonstration.

WEFLO has developed and operated a number of contactless convergence sensors, AI, and big data-based drone intelligent inspection station “verti-Pit” For the safe flight of Doosan Hydrogen Drone, the safety of the drone and the reliability of the data were secured by checking the status of the blade and driving unit in real time before and after the flight. The ‘verti-Pit’ introduced this time is a non-destructive take-off and landing pad type product that can check intelligent gas parts and components and is assembled and used according to the size of the aircraft. The company explains that various shapes and various driving methods, from small drones to tilt rotors, can be applied universally, enabling not only intelligent inspection but also complete unmanned operation of pads.

Meanwhile, according to a Seosan city official, the drone demonstration project is a project in which the safety of Seosan citizens should be considered as the top priority, and WEFLO’s intelligent safety inspection solution, which participated with Air On and Doosan, will play an important role in ensuring the safety of drones and airplanes in the future.”

Airon, a participant in the Seosan-si demonstration project, provides various drone-related solutions such as shooting, patrol, and surveying using its own developed drone system. This time, the drone demonstration city in Seosan City is demonstrating its technological prowess by unmanned drone delivery, landing facilities at delivery destinations, and upgrading reverse delivery.

Based on smart vehicle inspection technology and data reliability, WEFLO CEO Kim Eui-jung said, “We are looking for a direction to supply safety inspection stations through partnerships with a number of large companies and startups for the safety of operators and citizens. We will also do our best to accumulate prior data and advance technology for the upcoming UAM MRO industry.”

An official from Kakao Ventures, a WEFLO seed investment company, said, “WEFLO’s solution will quickly dominate the market in the rapidly growing drone and UAM market, starting with the intelligent safety inspection pad introduced this time.”
