WEFLO participates in IR competition for ‘Echo Bridge Project’

N15 PARTNERS held the “Eco-Bridge Project (hereinafter referred to as Eco-Bridge Project) Competition Event” on December 22 to select and link companies seeking to expand their business to the United Arab Emirates with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Korea.
The Eco-Bridge project is part of a global business run by NFPTIN Partners, a program that helps promising domestic companies seeking to enter the United Arab Emirates, a business hub in the Middle East, to successfully settle in the local market.
A total of seven companies (Dream Farm: Smart Farm with Vertical Farming Method, Deep Pine: Metaverse Platform Through XR Glass, Vestella Lab: Unmanned Parking Solution that Works Indoor and Underground, WEFLO: Unmanned UAM/EV Inspection Solution, Netstream: Web-Based Metaverse Exhibition Solution, Double Me: A Metaverse Solution that Converges VR and Reality for Real-Time Interaction, and PiQuant: Air Quality and Water Quality Analysis Solution Using Spectroscopy Analysis Technology) participated in the IR competition.
The IR competition was attended by H.E. Abdullah Saif AL Nuaimi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Korea, Saleh Al Shariki, economic secretary of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, and working-level officials of the UAE, including Sharjah FDI Office, Abu Dhabi Holdings, and Abu Dhabi Investment Office. In addition, experts from four domestic VCs (Silver Lake Investment, T-Investment, LB Investment, and Mirae Asset Capital), which are conducting overseas direct investment and global funding, attended and reviewed localization business strategies and local expansion strategies while listening to seven companies’ pitching.
“We will support overseas startups with excellent technology to enter the UAE and move forward in line with the era of industrial diversification and the 4th industrial revolution,” said H.E. Abuala, Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), stressing the importance of global cooperation. We will also support startups in various fields with excellent technology to enter the Middle East, strengthening their sustainable growth capabilities and laying the groundwork for global cooperation, said Heo Je, CEO of NFPTIN Partners.
In addition, NFPTIN Partners is carrying out various projects to help innovative entrepreneurs dream of the global market. As the operator of the global open innovation platform “Startup Autobahn Korea” hosted by Mercedes-Benz Korea, Enfyteen Partners provided an opportunity for 15 domestic and foreign leading startups to promote PoC collaboration with partners of large corporations such as Mercedes-Benz Korea, SK Telecom, Hanwha System, and LG Electronics in 2022, and supported promising start-ups in Korea to enter Singapore through the Global Market Expansion Program 2022. In addition, as a consortium of KOICA Peru ODA innovation start-up support projects, it supports Peruvian start-ups’ entry into Korea and strives to revitalize the Peruvian start-up ecosystem.
