WEFLO Recruits New CPO And IP Strategy Director
WEFLO (CEO Kim Eui-jung) announced that it has recruited CPO Choi Min-gyu and IP Strategy Director Choi Ho-seok, who have global history and capabilities.
Choi Min-gyu, CPO, is an industrial product design expert and has a master’s degree in product design from the London School of Communication and the Royal Academy of Arts, and has field experience and academic background as an adjunct professor of industrial design at KAIST.
In particular, CPO Choi is a talented person with global expertise in industrial design and has won the Prime Minister’s Award for Design and the International Design Award in the past. In the future, he will be in charge of designing products for WEFLO’s main products, the smart inspection pad “Bertifit” and advanced aviation mobility (AAM) inspection solutions.
CPO Choi Ho-seok said, “WEFLO is a deep-tech company with innovative technologies that smartly check future electric mobility such as drones, vertical take-off and landing electric aircraft (eVTOL), and electric vehicles, and we look forward to contributing greatly to the rapid realization of the commercialization of new mobility,” adding, “As it is a product that can affect the future of mankind, we will try to contain the most practical and stable design.”
Choi Ho-seok, IP Strategy Director, who joined WEFLO together, is a graduate of Yonsei University’s Department of New Materials Engineering and has provided patent advice for many global companies such as Samsung Electronics, Hanwha, Hyundai Motor, and ETRI. In addition, he is an expert in building a global IP portfolio and is currently working as a representative patent attorney at The Ho Patent Corporation.
“We have confirmed through several IP projects that WEFLO’s electric mobility smart inspection technology is an absolutely necessary and competitive technology from a global perspective beyond Korea,” said Choi Ho-seok, IP strategy director. “We will make efforts to build a portfolio to protect technology and secure ideas in carrying out full-fledged global business from 2024.”
