WEFLO selects super-gap start-up 1000+ project

The Daejeon Sejong Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration announced on the 15th that it visited WEFLO and Genome Insight Technology, which were selected for the ultra-gap startup 1000+ project, and awarded a signboard.

The super-gap project is an intensive fostering project that selects about 1,000 startups with technology in system semiconductors and future transportation, which are the top 10 super-gap areas, and invests 2 trillion won over the next five years.

The signboard award ceremony was designed to promote the project and raise corporate awareness, and they also had time to communicate by awarding signboards and listening to suggestions. WEFLO is a company that has developed a smart platform that can check the functional safety of vehicles in real time by introducing AI diagnostic solutions that determine the condition of major driving systems such as battery fires and motor defects due to the spread of electric vehicles.

Genome Insight Technology is a bio venture company co-founded by a professor at KAIST School of Medicine and a representative of a medical scientist from Seoul National University Hospital. It is the first company in the world to develop a precision cancer diagnosis program based on full-length dielectric analysis and attract 28.5 billion won in investment through Series B.

We congratulate you on being selected as a super-gap project after evaluation by top-class experts at home and abroad based on your unique technology, said Sung Nok-young, head of Daejeon Sejong Small and Medium Business Administration. “We hope that we will grow quickly into a unicorn responsible for our economy through support for super-gap projects in the future.”
