WEFLO signs MOU to develop blockchain/financial services

WEFLO (CEO Kim Eui-jung), a company specializing in flight diagnostic care solutions, announced on the 27th that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with New-Era Wireless (NEW) Lab under Georgia University and Mondrian AI, a company specializing in artificial intelligence technology, to develop blockchain core technology and financial-linked services based on urban aviation mobility data.

With this agreement, the two companies will make joint efforts to diagnose and upgrade care services in the drone and aviation fields. This joint development activity is based on big data collected through WEFLO’s aircraft aviation maintenance (verti-pit) solution, with Professor Kim Seung-mo of Georgia University leading the development of blockchain cores and Mondrian AI (CEO Hongik University) leading the development of financial-linked services.

According to the company, Mondrian AI is recognized for its technological prowess as an artificial intelligence solution development company with experience in winning the Incheon Mayor Award and the Incheon Airport Corporation Presidential Special Award for “ATMOS,” an artificial intelligence-based real-time airport autonomous control system, and the Prime Minister Award (Best Award) at the 2020 “Pan-Government Public Data Utilization Start-up Competition.”

WEFLO, led by CEO Kim Eui-jung, an expert in designing guided flight systems and autonomous sensors, is a company that provides AI big data-based drones, aircraft diagnostics, and care solutions. The company said that seed investment has been completed in recognition of the technology of the aircraft diagnosis and care solution.
