WEFLO, TIPS selection

WEFLO (CEO Kim Eui-jung), which provides future aviation mobility safety diagnosis and care solutions, has been selected by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ private investment-led technology start-up support program, TIPS, and will receive up to 500 million won in R&D funds.
The TIPS program is a program that intensively fosters promising start-ups in the future by selecting promising start-ups with technology to lead the global market. Startups selected for the program will receive investment, mentoring, and R&D funds.
Weflo is a data-driven service company that provides safety diagnosis and care solutions (verti-pit) for drones and aircraft based on AI and big data. WEFLO’s solution is a three-way verification solution that secures the reliability of air safety diagnosis data through blockchain to secure flight safety for customers using drones and urban air transportation (UAM), and diagnoses and cares for air safety with such data. In addition, the realization of NASA’s UAM operation concept reduces customer operating costs through intelligent and unmanned diagnostics. Currently, WEFLO is in the process of standardizing aircraft diagnosis by presenting guidelines for aircraft inspection.
In particular, WEFLO is making various efforts for the UAM service industry, including Pablo Air and Hanwha Insurance, liability insurance for future aviation mobility, New-Era Wireless (NEW) Lab under University of Georgia, and Mondrian AI to develop blockchain cores and financial services.
We will quickly respond to the advancement of flight safety diagnosis solutions and the continuous growth of the global UAM business through Tips (TIPS) support, said Kim Eui-jung, CEO of WEFLO.
